3D Text in Photograph

INSERT TEXT IN PHOTOGRAPH: Started this project of with a picture I took last year, used the text tool to place my word in the picture, and used the 3D option 'New 3D Extrusion from selected layer' (with my text layer selected), and this will give you the 3D effect, and you can pretty much adjust the appearance by moving in on the X, Y, and Z axes, as well as rotating the text, which is what I did. 3D PRODUCT SHOT: This one was a little more difficult, but it can be done. I started with a blank, normal-sized document, and I used the brush tool to fill in the background with a turquoise blue color. I selected the rounded rectangle tool, set it to path, and drew a shape in the layer. I named this layer 'Bottle Shape'. I then used the Convert Point tool to give the edges a squared-off look, by clicking all eight of them. I created two new layers, and essentially repeated the earlier steps to create the cap and bottle neck. You'll want to select the path you're trying to get the 3D look for first, and from the 3D dropdown menu at the top, select 'New 3D Extrusion from selected path'. repeat this step for your other paths on other layers. Play with adjusting the settings until you find the results to your liking. Oh, and for the neck layer/path, I created a shape, and rotated it 360 degrees by selecting the center-left point on the Deformation Axis Grid. I then selected the Deform icon, second from left at the top in the Properties window. After this, I dragged the Horizontal Angle (X) slider to -360 degrees. After that step, you can pretty much adjust the X, Y, and Z axes on each layer/path to your liking. Have fun with it!
