Text Project - Taco Tuesday

First, I took the chalkboard background and placed it in the center of a new document. I stretched it somewhat proportionately, and placed it in the center of the page. I then added a border using a pattern overlay on the layer below the chalkboard layer. I used a vertical stripe pattern, playing with the settings until it resembled wood grain. I also placed my hand-drawn skeleton in, and used the brush tool over it until I felt it looked like chalk (this was the most time-consuming step). For all but one of the brushes used, I chose the splatter brush. For the text, I typed my words out, selected each letter with the magic wand, created a new layer, then used the splatter brush to fill in the blank space with the color. This gave me the chalk effect that I desired. That was about all that it took!
