Streets of El Paso

The goal for this task was to create two advertisements for a fictional movie that we created. I chose two different sizes for this project, and they were the Billboard (970x270px) and Medium Rectangle (300x250px). For the billboard ad, I started with a western-style background, added two horses in the background, manipulated the sky to give it a more powerful blue, and added the text, and gave it a bevel & emboss effect, as well as a gradient overlay. For the medium rectangle ad, I started with another western background with cacti, added my face, my girlfriend's face, and lowered the opacity on those. I copied over the text from the billboard ad and changed it slightly, so that it would fit the document size. That's pretty much it. Oh, and I drew inspiration for the name from an old Marty Robbins song called 'Streets of Laredo'. My target audience would likely be both men and women ages 18-30.
